A Warm London Welcome and Next Up Supporting Bertie Blackman!

The first UK gig could not have got off to a better start, with the lead up to the gig not running as smoothly as envisaged, McKay took to the stage with confidence and with her wonderful positive attitude for life didn’t fail to please the crowd that had gathered to see her.

With the rain lashing down in West London on a fresh February evening, there was a bright ray of sunshine on the world famous Troubadour Club as McKay warmed a damp crown with a heart felt set.

With confirmation from the door that more people had come in to see McKay than the second support act and the main act put together, London certainly turned out to give her a very warm welcome on a historic and memorable night.

McKay wishes to thank all that braved the rain to make her first public appearance in London so very special.

The next performance will be supporting the very talented, fellow Australian, Bertie Blackman at The Barfly in Camden on Saturday 27th February 2010. The Barfly has hosted such bands as Coldplay, David Gray, Kaiser Chief’s and many, many more and promises to be another beautiful occasion for McKay fans.

Taking to the stage at 8pm she looks forward to continuing her love affair with London and seeing as many of you there as possible!

Larissa will be performing a selection of self penned songs in her first live public appearance in London. She is very proud to play such a prestigious venue and looks forward to giving her fans a taste of what’s to come as she kick starts her first run of performances in the UK.
